A massive land reform project was successfully launched as part of the Human Rights Day celebrations. This saw the transfer of thousands of hectares of land to black emergent farmers at Besters in uThukela. We are pleased that this pilot project has been adopted by the National Department of Agriculture and Land Affairs as an appropriate and practical land reform tool. We will strengthen post-settlement support to these beneficiaries.
