Name: Louisvale Road
The residential areas are divided into three main areas. During 1994 the previous Black Town Council, Paballelo, was incorporated into Upington and during 1995 the area known as Louisvale Road was also incorporated. After the 2000 municipal elections, the area of jurisdiction of the Municipality was increased to ± 16 times its original surface area, and now stretches between Raaswater and Kalksloot in the west and Lambrechtsdrift in the east.
